The official MCP server for Octoparse, enabling AI assistants and MCP-compatible clients to run structured web data workflows.

With Octoparse MCP Server, you can:

  • Search ready-to-use web scraping templates
  • Run supported cloud extraction tasks
  • Check, start, or stop existing tasks
  • Export structured data after a task is complete
  • Manage eligible resource or coupon codes

Typical workflow

  1. Search for a suitable template with search_templates
  2. Run the extraction with execute_task
  3. Wait for the cloud task to complete

Notes

  • This server works with MCP-compatible clients such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Codex CLI, and Gemini CLI.
  • Only cloud-runnable templates are supported. Local-only templates must be run in the Octoparse desktop application.
  • Task completion and export availability may take time depending on the target website and data volume.
  • Scheduling, notifications, and automation are handled by the MCP client or external workflow system.
