Setup Guide

Prerequisites

1. Activepieces account: Sign up for free|
2. Airtable account
3. Node.js installed on your system
4. Claude Desktop , Cursor, or another MCP-compatible host application

Step 1: Get Airtable API Token and Base Details

• Visit your Airtable account
• Copy your Personal Access Token (See how to access your Airtable API token)
• Identify the Base ID and Table Name(s) you want to work with (How to find Airtable IDs)

Step 2: Configure the MCP Server

For Claude:

• Go to Activepieces > MCP > Client Setup Instructions
• Open the Claude desktop
• Open Settings: Click the menu and select Settings > Developer
• Configure MCP Server: Click Edit Config and paste the configuration below
• Save and Restart: Save the config and restart Claude Desktop
