MCP ChatPDB Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server implementation for interacting with the Protein Data Bank (PDB).

Installation

1. Create a virtual environment:

python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: .venv\Scripts\activate

2. Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Usage

The server can be started using the Python script in the tools directory:

python tools/chatpdb/server.py

Configuration

The server configuration is stored in configs/mcp.json. You can modify the settings for different MCP server backends (SQLite or filesystem).
