Installation

Using pip

pip install terminal-commander

Using Docker

docker pull yourusername/terminal-commander:latest
docker run -p 8000:8000 yourusername/terminal-commander

Quick Start

1. Install the package

   pip install terminal-commander
   

2. Install the server in Claude Desktop

   mcp install terminal-commander
   

3. Use the terminal tool in Claude

   terminal("ls -la")
   

Security

Terminal Commander includes several security measures:

• Command filtering to prevent execution of dangerous commands
• Execution timeout limits
• Working directory restrictions
• Containerized environment (when using Docker)
